Your Role as Social Media Manager

As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be the digital face and voice of Walls and Gates. You’ll craft compelling content, run paid/organic campaigns, build community, and track performance metrics that move the needle. Your work will directly shape how the public sees, feels, and talks about our brand.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute high-impact social media strategies
  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging content (text, images, videos)
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on campaign performance
  • Engage actively with followers and online communities
  • Collaborate with design, sales, and strategy teams
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and best practices


Job Requirements

  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, Meta Suite, etc.
  • Ability to read analytics and make data-driven decisions
  • Creative eye for visuals and storytelling
  • Team player who can also work independently


Bonus Points (Preferred but not mandatory)

  • Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe tools)
  • Background in advertising or brand communications
  • Experience with influencer marketing or ad campaigns


Job Location & Schedule

  • Location: On-site in Surulere, Lagos
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional extra hours)
